Journey

I started Equilibrium Mediation Consulting almost 3 years ago. I embarked on this journey as I hoped to provide a solution which could be holistic offering to organisations. It has been a tough journey full of many bumps in the road but also it has been full of opportunity.

One might say it was a brave decision going it alone but I never thought of it that way, to me it was a journey of discovery of self, I knew I had some strong qualities that companies would be keen to capitalise on and I wanted the flexibility of being my own boss.

Discovery of self was the hardest as I had to allow myself to be noticed which doesn’t come naturally to me. I had to put myself into positions that I new would cause me great angst to enable me to grow as a person which would in turn allow me to move forward. I am sure there are people out there who have done similar things to improve their future and to you I say keep moving forward.

The great thing about journey’s are you never know who you will meet and how they will affect your journey. The contacts that I have made via LinkedIn have been quite instrumental in my journey as it was in these connections I found my voice. I would like to thank these people for being part of my journey which I might add has not finished yet. I know I am on the right path and will continue to meet new people and maybe playing a part in their journey.

So thank you too; Jacqueline Wilson-Hind, Cherron Inko-Tariah MBE, Tamara Seif, Paul Deemer, Jiten Patel, Gamiel Yafai, Paul Sesay, Bonnie Greer, Ikhlaq Hussain, Dr Sylvana Storey, Joyce Osei, Nita Kamdar, Frank Douglas FCIPD, Peter Causton, Robert Wright, Certitude Board and Leadership Team, Stephen Lawrence Foundation, not forgetting those of you who I have connected with but not met. I appreciate your contribution to my journey.
